Events will take place throughout the week in the lead up to International Women’s Day on Friday 8 March.
The events will range from formal lectures to informal social activities.
Highlights of the program include:
- 2019 International Women's Day Lecture - Small Theatre, Kambri Cultural Centre
- Pamela Denoon Lecture: Invisible Women, Invisible Violence in the Australian Human Rights landscape - Coombs Lecture Theatre
- International Women’s Day 2019: Women in Space - Mount Stromlo Observatory Visitor Centre
- Professor Valerie Hudson lecture: Trust the Women as I Have Done – Sir Roland Wilson Building
The 2019 International Women’s Day Lecture will be delivered by Dr Sam Mostyn.
Dr Mostyn has held numerous governance roles across business, sport, the arts, policy and not-for-profit sectors.
Award winning human rights activist Khadija Gbla will deliver the Pamela Denoon Lecture.
