ANU Chancellor Gareth Evans to address National Press Club

Chancellor of The Australian National University (ANU) and former Foreign Minister Professor the Hon Gareth Evans, and Adjunct Professor Allan Gyngell of the ANU Crawford School of Public Policy, will address the National Press Club on Thursday on Australia’s foreign policy challenges.

The talk titled 'Australia’s Fear of Abandonment: Foreign Policy in an Era of Global Change' will focus on the key themes that have influenced foreign the policies of every Australian government for the past seventy-five years.

Professor Gyngell is the former Director-General of the Office of National Assessments and founding Executive Director of the Lowy Institute for International Policy.
