ANU EXPERTS ALERT: Afghanistan Inquiry into alleged war crimes
The Department of Defence commissioned the independent inquiry following rumours and allegations that emerged in relation to possible breaches of the Law of Armed Conflict by members of the Special Operations Task Group in Afghanistan during the period 2005 to 2016.
The Chief of the Defence Force received the Afghanistan Inquiry report from the Inspector-General of the Australian Defence Force earlier this month.
The Australian National University (ANU) has experts available to comment on the report.
