ANU Three Minute Thesis Competition Final

Tuesday, September 5, 2017 — The Australian National University (ANU) will hold its Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition Final on Wednesday.

The 3MT is an international competition for research students to explain their research and why it is important, all in plain language, within three minutes and with only a single PowerPoint slide.

Media are invited to attend.

There are 12 finalists from across the University competing for the ANU 3MT crown and $4,000 in prize money.

The event will be livestreamed on the ANU Facebook page.

The ANU winner will be a finalists in the 2017 Asia-Pacific 3MT grand final on Friday 29 September.

WHO: 12 ANU 3MT finalists and ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr, ANU Vice-Chancellor Brian Schmidt, Janelle Weissman and Shane Drumgold who are judging the event.
