ANU to launch Australia’s premier music recording studio

The Australian National University (ANU) School of Music will launch a new $1 million recording studio on Tuesday.

Media are invited to join ANU Vice-Chancellor Professor Brian Schmidt and Head of the School of Music Professor Ken Lampl as they unveil the studio that be the training grounds for the next generation of young music artists and researchers in Australia.

The new studio will give Australian musicians and bands access to a world-class facility with equipment on par with some of the great recording studios, including Abbey Road in London and Ocean Way in Los Angeles.

School of Music students will perform in the studio, and you can take a tour to see what makes this a premier recording studio in Australia.
