Wednesday, August 16, 2017 — Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) Assistant Governor Luci Ellis has cancelled a planned address at a major economics conference to be hosted by The Australian National University (ANU) on Thursday.
However, the annual Workshop of the Australasian Macroeconomics Society (WAMS) will go ahead as planned from Thursday 17 – 19 August.
The WAMS conference brings together leading economists from Australia and around the world to discuss key challenges and new research into global economic issues from 17–19 August.
