MEDIA ALERT: ANU hosts symposium on Australia and Japan as global partners

The Australian National University (ANU) Japan Institute and The Embassy of Japan will host a one day seminar on Cooperation between Australia and Japan as global partners on Friday.

Media are invited to attend.

The symposium includes experts and government officials from Australia, Japan and the region who will discuss issues such as energy, security and aid.

Japan’s Ambassador to Australia His Excellency Sumio Kusaka and Deputy Secretary of Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Richard Maude will be among the speakers at the opening at 9am.
