MEDIA ALERT: Kambri at ANU opening today


The Kambri precinct at The Australian National University will open today with an official ceremony and a free community concert.

The precinct in the heart of the campus includes teaching and learning, live performance, hospitality, retail and health and lifestyle facilities.

Today’s ceremony will also reveal the latest gift to the University.

The day’s activities will run as follows.

9am: Pre-event media tour of Kambri facilities. Gather at Pop-Up end of University Avenue. Media must indicate if they wish to join a media tour.

10am-11am: Official ceremony including gift reveal and address by Hon Peter Garrett. Ceremony will be held in the Cultural Centre.

11:15am: Post-event media tour of Kambri facilities. Gather at Cultural Centre. Media must indicate if they wish to join a media tour.

12pm-2pm: Community concert including performances by local acts Guyy & the Fox, ALOISE, The Tipsy Scholars.
