MEDIA ALERT - Sustainable Farms launch

The Minister for Agriculture and Water Resources The Hon David Littleproud MP will today launch an innovative new research program to create "truly sustainable farms". 

The multidiscplinary program conducted by The Australian National University will include environmental, economic and mental health experts to develop productive, financially successful farms and resilient and health farmers. 

The program will be led by Professor David Lindenmayer, Professor Bruce Chapman and Associate Professor Philip Batterman from The Australian National University. 

The Minister will launch the program today at 11am in the Baker Room at Parliament House. Media are invited to attend.
