MEDIA ALERT: Vice-Chancellor to welcome thousands of new students

The Australian National University Vice-Chancellor Professor Brian Schmidt AC will today welcome thousands of new students to the University.

The Vice-Chancellor’s Commencement address to more than 2000 first year students will begin at 11am on University Avenue in the Kambri precinct at ANU.

Students will then join the Vice-Chancellor and University Executive for a BBQ lunch.

Media are invited to attend the address which kicks off O Week celebrations for new and returning students.
