Wednesday, July 5, 2017 — Renowned Yale economist Professor Larry Samuelson will deliver the prestigious Trevor Swan Distinguished Public Lecture at The Australian National University (ANU) on Thursday 6 July.
Media are invited to attend as Professor Samuelson, Director of the Cowles Foundation for Research in Economics at Yale University, gives a speech titled Competitive Matching Markets.
Professor Samuelson’s research examines a range of topics in economic theory and game theory, including work on the evolutionary foundations of economic behaviour, on the theory of repeated games, and on incentives and resource allocation in matching markets.
The Distinguished Lecture is named after Trevor Swan, the foundation Professor of Economics at ANU and arguably Australia’s greatest economist.
